Recommended Application Instructions:
- Apply a sufficient amount of putty on the provided spatula tip.
- Press the spatula with moderate force to spread the putty as parallel as possible to the desired surface (VRAM, VRM, etc.). The goal is to just get any putty to contact and on the desired surface (even as a blob).
- Use the included glove tips to tap and spread the putty so your whole surface is covered; a smooth application is not required. Once the heatsink is installed, it will compress and spread the putty as needed. We found it easiest to use fingers to spread; it is very difficult to spread with the spatula.
- Ideal for situations where exact-size thermal pads are difficult to find or align (e.g., EVGA GPUs, Asus G15 laptops).
